Perform a chi-square test for independence to see if there’s a difference in the quantity sold based on the design of the case. Here are instructions to do that easily:
Go to Analyze –> Descriptives –> Crosstabs
Make “design” the column and “sales” the rows
Click on “statistics” and check off “chi square”Submit your output with this lab.
Is there a significant effect of the design of the case on the quantity sold? Why is that the case? What is the chi square value?
