This paper will focus on some keynutrients that are important for general health: carbohydrates, fats, fiber and proteins. Students’ personal daily intake will be analyzed to determine what foods are providing the right type of nutrients, and how food consumption might be adjusted to provide for a healthier nutrient intake.Each student is required tokeep a log of all nutritional intake and activity over a period of three days.
This log should include all the relative nutritional facts for each meal, such as;
Caloric content, Sugar content, Protein and Fiber content.
Studentswill analyze whetherthe intake and activity is appropriate as related to:
Required balance of nutrientsfor a healthy weight and relative to his/her lifestyle
Recommended amount of water
Any predisposing health conditions. The student must include:
Photographs of all meals (including snacks)
Caloric content of all nutritional intake
Photographs of all calorie-burning activities inwhich the student participates
Recommendations for improving nutritional intake and activity
Format:The paper must be in APA 7thedition format.
