Describe a real world example that could be used to demonstrate Newton’s First Law of Motion, and one that could be used to demonstrate Newton’s Second Law of Motion.

One of the core readings in this course is The Courage to Teach, by Parker Palmer. As you reflect on the title of the book, what you do think he means by “the courage to teach”? Why would a teacher need courage? What kind of courage does a teacher need, and why is this courage important to his/her teaching practice and personal/professional development?
Describe a real world example that could be used to demonstrate Newton’s First Law of Motion, and one that could be used to demonstrate Newton’s Second Law of Motion. What factors could affect/cause problems for your demonstration for each law? Examples from your textbook are off limits…
